John beleuchtet die gegenwärtige und zukünftige Rolle der Sozialen Marktwirtschaft im Zusammenhang mit dem europäischen Integrationsprozess. Es geht zunächst um die Frage, welche Rückwirkungen die europäische Integration auf die Wirtschaftsordnung in Deutschland hat.
