Man merkt beiden Büchern eine gewisse Erschöpfung des Autors an, die sich insbesondere darin zeigt, dass die treffenden Beobachtungen aus dem Alltagsleben und deren beißende Kommentierung und Interpretation durch Luhmann nicht so pointiert wie in früheren Schriften hervortreten.“ (H.
