Elizabeth Kaase-Bwanga
holds a PhD in Economics, a Master of Arts in Economic Policy and Planning, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Rural Economy, all from Makerere University. She is a Research Fellow (2017/2018) of the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics (BGSE). and a consultant in development, implementation and evaluation of development programmes. She is currently coordinating the Norwegian programme for higher education institutions (NORHED) at Makerere University and is a senior researcher at the School of Women and Gender Studies.
Dr. Agnes Atim Apea
is the CEO & founder of the Hope Development Initiative Uganda. In her work towards empowering women in Uganda, she works with the Government of Uganda as the Chairperson Local Government Finance Commission and has been a consultant with the African Union, the Commonwealth, United Nations Agencies, Uganda Women’s Parliamentary Association and the Pan African Parliament.

Betty Akullo
is a Ugandan lawyer, an activist and a gender specialist with over twelve years of experience in mainstreaming gender into projects, programs and policies. She is a founder of the Women and Rural Development Network, a grassroots organization working to promote the rights of women and children in northern Uganda.
